Household hazardous waste disposal

Message from HazWaste Central (HWC):
HWC will open for its 33rd season on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Since 1989, the RWA has supported HWC as a regional solution for proper and safe household hazardous waste disposal. HWC, Connecticut’s first permanent household hazardous waste collection center, proudly accepts materials that would otherwise be thrown away in regular trash. HWC is open for residents of member towns from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturdays only, from May 20, 2023 through October 28, 2023.
