DMV releases are not given automatically or immediately! When a payment is made with a credit or debit card online or in office, there is a minimum of 5 business days before the release is transmitted.
E-checks are treated the same as a personal check. it will take at least ten business days to get a release. There will be a $20 fee added for returned checks.
You can can pay tax bills online or by phone by calling 844-547-0205, (you will need your bill number), or by mail, (we use the U.S. Postal Service postmark only). If you wait until the last minute to send in a payment, you must go to the post office and ask them to hand stamp your envelope.
We continue to accept cash, checks and credit cards in the office between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Credit card convenience fees will apply at the time of payment.
