Rent Rebate Program 2024

The Town of East Haven Senior Center and Department of Social Services participates in the State of Connecticut Rental Rebate program. This program provides a reimbursement for Connecticut renters who are elderly or disabled, and whose incomes do not exceed certain limits. Renters rebates can be up to $900.00 for married couples and $700.00 for single persons. The renters rebate amount is based on a graduated income scale and the amount of rent and utility payments (excluding telephone) made in the year prior to the calendar year in which the renter applies.
